ELIXIR Sweden successfully hosted the tenth annual ELIXIR community gathering at the historic Uppsala University Main Building.
The All Hands 2024 event attracted 371 in-person attendees and 160 online participants. They convened to celebrate accomplishments and address the challenges of developing a distributed life science data infrastructure.
As an Elixir Observer country, Romania was represented by three participants at the All Hands 2024 meeting, which included a poster presentation from the Romanian team.
Over three days, the meeting served as a platform to introduce ELIXIR's new Scientific Programme for 2024-28, and it was the first event under the leadership of Director Tim Hubbard. Attendees engaged in numerous parallel sessions, featuring nine mini-symposia, 25 workshops, and four plenary sessions, while also exploring 79 posters.
